Daydreaming

 WRITING PROMPT # 24: Daydreams 

Things I'm daydreaming about today: 

• Eating chocolate. I miss you. 
• Decorating our master bedroom. My Pinterest board and Amazon list are overflowing. 
• Becoming a chef. Not a paid one. Just a better cook. A cook who enjoys cooking. 
• Hiring a maid. (Yes, my kids do chores. I just want someone to do my chores.)
• Having more time to read and write while simultaneously having less dirty dishes in the sink. 
• Going on a trip. Nowhere specific. I would just like to go somewhere. 
• Coming up with a million dollar idea to make mom-life easier. But every time I think I have something, it's already a thing. Come on, brain! I want a million dollars! 
• Making our basement an epic hangout destination so our kids will want to bring their friends here
• Buying Christmas gifts for my baby. Not my other kids just yet. But there's just something exciting about cute baby toys. (Sorry, other kids. You just can't compete with a Disney Princess set of Little People or a giant stacking tower...)
